With the MAC Venomous Villains Collection just on the horizon, I got to thinking about the special packaging some collections come with. The Venomous Villains Collection has been slammed by some for it's sticker-like packaging while others rave about the Disney Villains on their makeup. Also to be noted is the slight increase in price for the Disney collection- the lipglasses, lipsticks and eyeshadows are bumped up to $15.50 USD from the regular $14 while the powder blushes are now $19.50 from $18. The MAC collection special packaging is either hit (Hello Kitty was SO cute) or miss (the stickers on the Dame Edna collection peel off with time)- but i do find a hint of joy when searching through my mounds of black tubes and stumble upon something different. What do YOU think about special packaging from MAC? And are you willing to pay more money for it? What are some of your favorite collections with special packaging? Leave your thoughts in the comments.
Here is one of my favorite limited edition lipsticks in one of MAC's more lovely special packaging- Peach Stock from the Liberty of London line. It's the perfect matte nude for darker tone girls like me! And if you are wondering where I got my darling lipstick holder (pictured above), it is a custom-made lipstick holder from my talented friend Teresa.
