Viva Glam Gaga 2 lipstick and lipglass were released in MAC stores on Thursday February 17, retailing at $14.50 and like the rest of the Viva Glam line, all proceeds going to the MAC AIDS Fund. The shade is a true nude, though it goes on slightly pinker than the product looks in the tube. It's a close match to both MAC's Myth (VG Gaga 2 is darker) and MAC's Peachstock (VG Gaga 2 is lighter). This is a hard shade to pull off. The amplified formula really allows every crack and wrinkle in your lip to show through and the shade may just be on the border of that dreaded "concealer lip" look. Although the original Viva Glam Gaga was quite cool and difficult to pull off on most as well, Viva Glam Gaga 2 is even harder to pull off and is flattering on even less skin tones. While the lipstick maybe growing on me each time I wear it, it is definitely not an easy shade to just slap on and go. Be sure to condition your lips before putting this on. Bottom line? If you are a Gaga fan, this is a must have. If you can live without the limited edition shade, I would use my $14.50 and grab Viva Glam V, a more flattering shade of nude with the proceeds going to the same cause.
